Every Eye Shall See Him

Question:

If this earth is round like a globe, how can every eye behold Christ as He comes in the clouds at the second advent?

Answer:

The text reads: “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” (Revelation 1:7).

Doesn’t the earth revolve? If the Lord Jesus were to appear directly overhead, it would take just twenty-four hours for everyone across the planet to see Him. On that fearful day, the earth might spin even faster at the will of its Creator, and angels will gather the elect.
